490 Ramp Clean-Up

August 27, 2015 – What can happen when you put together 20 determined volunteers with the right tools and some nifty outfits?  You can go from an iSore to this clean space.

A huge thanks go out to our neighbors and the Volunteers from Wilson Commencement Day who made this 490 Ramp Project happen (in only 3 hours).  And a big shout out to Marianne and Tom Pastecki who sponsored and organized this project.
Additional credit and thanks goes to:
  • Kelvin McKnight from NSC at Village Gate Square for the shovels, rakes, brooms and gloves!
  • Brian Sears for “animal control services” and photo’s!
  • Dave Burnet for drone shots!
  • Jackie Salsbury, Principal Engineering Technician from NYS Dept. of Transportation for helping to coordinate our project and, of course, FOR THE AWESOME OUTFITS!!!!
Next steps will be to “landscape” the space.
